We have been in DC at the International Guest House over two months now and it is hard to find words to describe our experiences, the people we have met, and the places we have seen. So we will simply add pictures and reflect as we have time.
Easter Sunday, April 16, 2017
One of the things we love about being here are the opportunities we have to visit churches of other traditions. There is a church three houses up the block from us, Sixth Presbyterian Church. We love going there because we can walk, the people are very welcoming, the music is terrific and their welcome statement is the best one I have ever seen! The congregation is very small (30 people?) but today being Easter, there were quite a few more people. Here are some pictures of today:

We've also loved attending the National Cathedral which I can only describe as majestically magnificent! It is also a very warm, welcoming church in spite of its size.
